A first generation American from Sierra Leone, West Africa, Soladé Rowe grew up in New York City, where he attended the United Nations International School, where he benefited from the International Baccalaureate curriculum as well as the life-long comradery from his fellow classmates from countries around the world.
Creating access for financially disadvantaged black and Hispanic college bound students throughout New York City is where he started his career, and further developed his people-centered interests where diversity, equity & inclusion and talent management/development were the focal points throughout each of his professional accountabilities in human resource management. In 2011 Solade established CareerAspiration consistent with his passion and altruistic values. With a passion for career coaching Solade has volunteered his time to countless diverse professional development organizations, seeking opportunities to augment professionals’ brand/readiness to pursue and achieve their career goals, while connecting them through meaningful career channels for the right opportunities. Soladé held several HR management roles within the retail, life sciences, management consulting, and investment banking industries. In his last corporate position, he held talent acquisition and performance management responsibilities, where he played a vital role in the company’s merger integration and supported the expansion of its e-commerce business. Soladé started his career in higher education and has served as a Trustee for his alma mater for over 20 years and serves as Chair of the Compensation Committee.
Soladé holds a Bachelor of Science in International Business from Utica University and a Master of Science in Organizational Change Management from The New School for Social Research in New York City. He is also certified in Hogan Leadership Assessments.
